In the world of Rally Bikes and Adventure Motorbikes, the quality of your electrical connections is crucial. A faulty connection can quickly turn into a serious problem during a race or on a long journey. That’s why today, I’m sharing a practical guide on how to properly crimp connectors, focusing specifically on Superseal connectors, which are widely used in automotive applications and Rally equipment also in races like the Dakar Rally to wire Roadbooks and other navigation equipment.
Why Choose Superseal Connectors?
Superseal connectors are known for being dustproof and waterproof—key features for Adventure and Rally Bikes. Their high level of security is essential for avoiding electrical issues that could ruin a race or a trip where for example we are not receiving anymore electricity to a device or even potentially the fuel pump and we cannot figure out where the fault is. Sometimes the fault is invisible as it may be inside the connector where the pin has not properly been crimped.
